Balloon Safaris over the Mara

Balloon Safaris are a fantastic way to experience the Masai Mara from a bird’s eye view. The ride usually starts at sunrise and lasts one hour.

The trip is magical: spend about one hour silently floating over the savannah in a hot air balloon and it will fill you with enough memories to last a lifetime. You take off in the wee hours of the morning, float in the sky, drifting with the whim of the wind, overlooking the plains, just in time to experience a breathtaking sunrise and catch a bird’s eye view of the reserve.

We have been collaborating for years with Governor’s Camp, the only ones who fly in balloon entirely over the Mara River and considered the best of Masai Mara Reserve. Offering spectacular views over Mara River and the chance of see the great phenomenon of Africa’s great Serengeti wildebeest migration as the sun rises in the African Savannah.
